Program Description

Event Details

Kids and families are invited to meet our neighborhood police officer and view a police car at the South Side Library! Join us from 12:00-1:00 p.m. outside in the library's parking lot and meet Des Moines Police Sergeant Yanira Scarlett as she shows us what it takes to do her job. Visitors will also get a chance to see the equipment she uses AND take a look around and inside her police car!  All ages are welcome.
