Library opening delayed

All locations of the Des Moines Public Library will open at Noon Saturday, December 14 due to weather. All locations will serve as emergency warming shelters during open hours.

Former Broadlawns Medical Center trustee Jean Logan will provide an overview of the hospital's history, relating stories that make it come alive. Appreciate the rich, unique experiences of Broadlawns' employees and patients over its century-long history and learn about the evolution of healthcare at a public county hospital.
