Program Description

Event Details

Meet our friends from Des Moines Parks and Recreation at the Forest Avenue Library and we will discover some of the birds that live there and in your own backyard.  There will be a story followed by bird-based activities including using binoculars on a short hike to find some live wild birds.  To finish the event, participants will make a pop bottle birdfeeder to take home and put up in their own yard.  Best for ages 5-12.  Registration required!
