All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

3D Printing for Adults: Earrings

Curious about 3D printers? Come to Forest! We'll use TinkerCad to design a pair of earrings to print and hang from earring hooks. Our librarian will introduce you to the the software and offer some ideas, but you can experiment and create your own design: all our samples were made by library staff using basic TinkerCAD features. We'll 3D print the earrings after the program, and you can pick them up when they're done.

This program is intended for adults and older teens. If you would like to bring a child, they may work together with their grown-up. Space is limited by devices.
