Our purpose is to provide menstrual products to those that struggle with access, while eliminating the stigma and shame of periods.

Community Fridge with 24/7 access located in the church parking lot next to the west garage

Free Community Meal every Tuesday from 5PM-7PM

Free Medical Clinic every Tuesday. Registration from 5PM-7PM, patients are seen from 5:30PM-7:30PM

Provides grief support groups including Death of a Spouse and Surviving the Holidays.

Offers one-on-one grief counseling, telephone calls and correspondence, support groups, exclusive workshops, memorial services, and grief resources

Food pantry and clothing closet for residents of Grimes. Photo ID and rent or utility bill required to receive services.

1st & 2nd Tuesday of each Month: 5:30PM - 7:30PM

Provides shelter for 10 men transitioning from prison to community.

Provides men coming from prison, jail, treatment, or other programs access and information to resources in the community – while providing them with safe, adequate housing.

Access the Lock Box 24/7 using the code above to access free Harm Reduction Kits for cleaning needles and syringes, Sharps containers, and Hygiene Kits with soap, toothbrush, and period products.

Free vending machine with similar items located at Polk County Health Department (1907 Carpenter Ave in Des Moines).

Telephone assistance for the deaf and hard of hearing is available for individuals with TTY/TDD equipment. TTY/TDD users may call 800-829-4059 to ask tax questions or to order IRS forms and publications.

Meals: Thursday 5 PM-6 PM, A free meal for anyone who wishes to come. There is no cost and there is no agenda. Everyone is always welcome.

Clothing Closet: Monday and Friday 10 AM-12 PM, first Thursday of the month 4 PM-6 PM, FREE clothes closet. Anyone is welcome to come check out the assortment of gently used clothing.
