Easterseals Iowa provides a wide range of services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in their communities.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM

Owned and operated by Valley Church and offering a number of activities, including fitness classes, community events, and serving opportunities.

Food Pantry Hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2 PM- 5 PM., Thursdays 10 AM - 12 PM, Fridays from 10 AM- 2 PM

Provides several services, including meals and food pantry.

Youth Shelter/Youth Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services:

Welcomes kids of all ages and backgrounds, giving them a safe, supportive environment for as long as their need requires, offers diverse counseling and therapeutic services to treat behavioral, emotional or substance use problems.

Young adults working toward self-sufficiency and who are unable to return to a home setting can participate in Ellipsis’ Transitional and Independent Living programs.

Provides immigrant and refugee parents peer-to-peer child development and parenting education through community-based support services to increase family problem-solving skills and knowledge of Western parenting norms. The program also provides access to preschool and kindergarten classes.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM

Counseling services to individuals (youth and adult) and families. Also offers substance use disorder assessments and referrals for both adults and juveniles.

Employee Assistance Program: Crisis response professionals are ready to provide assistance when your organization is in crisis due to downsizing, robberies, accidents, death and other critical incidents.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8 AM- 5 PM, Friday 8 AM- 4:30 PM

Meals served Tuesdays from 5:30 PM-6:30 PM and Saturdays 11 AM - 12:30 PM

Epworth United Methodist Church has a trained ministry team that provides ongoing support for as long as necessary to individuals when they are released from prison.

Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 AM-12 PM

Services including job search assistance, job interview preparation, career resume preparation assistance, job preparation, and Adult Based Education classes.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM

Men on the Move Clothing Closet (Tuesday-Friday 11 AM-2PM by appointment only): Men's career-clothing closet, tailored toward men within the community selected for job interviews, in recovery, re-entry, or those that have clothing ​needs, will have an opportunity to enjoy a personal shopping experience. Call to schedule an appointment.

Matches volunteer reading mentors one-to-one with a student for about an hour each week and together they read and engage in conversation. Programs may take place during breakfast, lunch, after-school, or evening dinner sessions primarily at elementary schools or through community organizations.

Play and Learn Program: Offers child-directed, open ended, playful learning activities designed for families to stay and play with their children ages 0 – 8 years old. Every family receives a book and a healthy snack at each session.

Health Programs: Also offers health services for all ages, hospice programs, and grief and loss programs.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8 AM-4 PM

Serves those with a wide range of mental health conditions including, depression, anxiety, chronic mental illness, and substance abuse.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM
