Private organizations or individuals, as well as any closed meetings, will be charged a rental fee of $10 per hour for use of this room. Rooms may not be used for personal private events (i.e. birthdays, baby showers, etc.)
Nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations holding meetings that are open to the public may use the room free of charge. All events booked as nonprofit must submit or have on file proof of 501 (c) 3 status. Nonprofit organizations are subject to the Iowa Open Meeting Laws or they must pay the for-profit rate.
Room should be reserved at least five days in advance and may be booked up to eight weeks in the future.
Rental fee includes time for set up and take down. Users will not be admitted before or after their scheduled reservation time.
Please note that serving food in the Conference Room will require a $20 maintenance fee. You may bring food in from any source, and are responsible for room clean up. The library cannot provide a kitchen for room users or caterers.
