All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Event Details

VoteSmart researchers will give an oversight to navigating their website to look up information about candidates and elected officials, how they voted on issues and who supports them. Their website is quite extensive, having over 30 years of information which is all free to use and look up. They will have copies of their Voters Self Defense Manual- which is a physical snapshot of their website for people to take.
