All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Join us for Virtual VolunTeens on Zoom, where you'll work with our Youth Librarians to help accomplish library goals, all while gaining resume-worthy skills and making new connections! Virtual VolunTeens is a regular, once-a-month meeting. Library volunteering is eligible for Silver Cord credit. Ages 12-18.

To join you must:

  1. Register
  2. Fill out and submit an Application (drop off at Central Library Youth Desk or email to abcornick@dmpl.org)
  3. Fill out and email a Waiver (drop off at Central Library Youth Desk or email to abcornick@dmpl.org)
  4. Be 12-18 years old
