Adventure Pass temporarily shut down in 2025

Due to software issues affecting all libraries using the service, the Iowa Adventure Pass program will temporarily shut down in 2025. Any reservation already made for 2025 will be honored, but we encourage anyone with a current reservation to print those passes immediately. Customers can still make new reservations for passes that must be used by December 31, 2024. The service will return at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Families! Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at South by watching a performance from Los Jovenes Embajadores (The Young Ambassadors). Participants can enjoy music, watch the group perform traditional Folkloric dances and kids and families can learn different dances from the performers! All ages welcome! 

¡Familias! Celebren el Mes de Herencia Latina en la biblioteca pública de South Side Library con un baile de Los Jóvenes Embajadores. ¡Los participantes podrán disfrutar de la música, y aprender diferentes bailes folclóricos tradicionales! ¡Todas las edades son bienvenidas! Lunes, 13 de septiembre a las 6:00-6:45.

Este programa se realiza al aire libre. Los asistentes deben obedecer toda la señalización y seguir los mandatos actuales de máscaras y las pautas de distanciamiento social de la ciudad de Des Moines. En caso de mal tiempo, vuelva a consultar aquí para obtener actualizaciones.
