All DMPL locations are serving as warming centers during open hours. DART will be providing free rides to designated warming centers through Friday, December 5. Learn more about additional warming centers.

Want to gain resume-worthy skills and give back to the community? Join the Central Library's VolunTeen team!  You'll help out with all kinds of things from craft prep to library programs, displays, and more! 

To join, fill out the application and waiver and turn it in at the Central Library Youth Desk before Orientation!

Central Parking

Free library parking is available in Central's underground parking garage for two hours per visit. Parking around the library is metered at various costs from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.

This program is hosted indoors.  Please observe social distancing and follow local COVID-19 safety mandates. Hand sanitizer will be provided and staff will do their best to ensure any shared materials are disinfected between use.
