Warming Centers

All DMPL locations are serving as warming centers during open hours through noon on February 1. DART will provide free rides to designated warming center locations while the Extreme Temperature Plan is in effect.

Love frogs, toads, and other cool amphibians? Then join South Side Library and our friends at Polk County Conservation to learn about these smooth, wet animals that seem to magically transform from egg to adult. Plus, see a real live amphibian up close! Best for youth ages 6 and up.
