Meals: Mobile breakfast service travels to five locations around central Des Moines on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings year-round to serve homeless and near-homeless people. Call for route information

Food Pantry: Monday-Friday 9 AM-12 PM, 1 PM-4 PM

General Assistance: Provides temporary financial assistance with rent and utility bills by appointment only.

Our free programs provide housing, food, counseling, community, and employment as we work to treat the symptoms, and ultimately the root causes, of prolonged alcohol and drug dependence.

Provides rental assistance to low-income families and elderly or disabled individuals who rent from a private landlord. Part of Des Moines Municipal Housing Agency.

General Assistance: Assistance may be available for those needing utility or rent assistance under $700. Assistance is based on interview by mission services staff, need, and availability of funding. Call to inquire.

Provides wrap around services to those returning to society and their families so they may regain employment, additional education, and provide food to their family all while learning to navigate through the barriers they may face.

Provides emergency shelter care to homeless families for up to 30 days. All meals provided and laundry provided.
