Reading cool books, then eating hot pizza – if that conjures up some childhood memories, you’re not alone. You were rewarded for reading with pizza as a kid – so why not as an adult, too?
The Des Moines Public Library 30x30 Challenge is back again for another year! The concept is simple – read 30 minutes a day for all 30 days in November, and you’ll be eligible to win one of 30 free pizzas from Gusto Pizza Bar!
*You must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to win a prize.
Taking part in the contest is easy:
- Hit the “Register Now” button above to head to our Beanstack page.
- Sign up for the 30x30 Challenge (you’ll be asked to create a free Beanstack account if you don’t have one yet. It takes just a couple minutes!)
- You can pre-register for the 30x30 Contest before November 1! Be sure to hit the "pre-register" button on the app or page.
- When you finish reading each day, mark that day as completed on your Beanstack reading log.
- Pro-tip: Download the Beanstack App (IOS, Android) for easy tracking on the go.
Anyone who completes the challenge will be eligible for the drawing, and winners will be notified the first full week of December.

Get Caught Up If You Fall Behind
We know this time of year can be busy. So if you missed a day or a few days of logging, you can easily catch up and complete the challenge. Below we have included step-by-step are instructions on how to get caught up if you fall behind.
Log all of your reading in the Beanstack App by the end of the day on December 1 to be entered into the drawing to win one of 30 gift cards to Gusto Pizza Bar.
STEP 1: Open the Beanstack App
STEP 2: Click the green plus sign at the bottom of your screen and select "Reading"
STEP 3: Click "Log Without a Title"
STEP 4: Where it says "Log reading for..." click change, and select the date in November that you would like the log entry to count for.
