Beat the boredom on Fridays by visiting the library and using your imagination to create amazing things with our LEGOs.

Stop in the library for fun arts and crafts with our Art Cart! While supplies last. Adult supervision is required. 

Drop in to the North Side Library for an icy science experiment! How many ice cubes can you get to stick to a piece of string?

Join us for an after-school LEGO Club where building blocks will be available for open play! Use your imagination to build your ideas or use the STEM-challenge prompts and building guides to bring ideas to life. Drop-in anytime between 3-5pm.

Art helps us practice patience and focus; but how about applying those skills to make something yummy?

Learn to make beautiful letters with ASAP at the North Side Library! Calligraphy is the art of lettering, like fancy writing. Practicing calligraphy helps develop fine motor skills and is a fun way to express creativity.

A young woman named Asha possesses wild wishes for happiness. After making a wish on a starry night, Asha is surprised when Star, a ball of cosmic energy, comes down to accompany her.

If you’re a kid who likes to draw (or wants to learn or improve your skills), this class is for you! In these three weeks we will use charcoal, colored pencils, white pencils, and graphite drawing pencils to practice drawing.

Children will listen to a story and then create a masterpiece while exploring with art and STEM activities. Ages 3+.

When you're learning to read, practicing out loud can be daunting! Visit Central Library to practice reading with an ARL TheraPet. Engaging with animals is a great way to boost confidence and reduce anxiety around learning to read.

Come to South Side for an hour of sensory exploration!

Kids and teens ages 8-18 can enjoy Switch games on the big screen at North Side! We will meet on the first and third Tuesday of the month.

A mosaic is a picture produced by arranging small pieces of stone, tile, or other material. At ASAP Thursdays this month at South Side Library, we will learn to make our own mosaics with Teaching Artist Mary Kay Smith.

Are you looking for a place to trade your Pokémon cards? 

Bring your friends and come to this monthly program with any cards you want to trade.  This event is open to children ages 7-18. 

Join us for our evening Family Storytime at 6:30 p.m.! Kids and caregivers can join us for fun songs, stories and crafts. You can even wear your jammies!  All Ages Welcome!

Celebrate Winter Solstice at this special Pajama Storytime! Wear your coziest pajamas, bring a stuffie to snuggle, and listen to stories about the shortest day of the year while sipping on hot chocolate.
