Winters in Iowa can be hard and cold. How should you prepare? The Iowa International Center has the answers. Come to DMPL North Side Library to learn about ways to stay warm, prepare your home, drive safely, and have fun in the cold winter months.
Topics include: winter clothing, travel, home weather-proofing, and how to safely enjoy outdoor recreation during these cold months.
This program is open to everyone, but may have particular appeal to those experiencing their first Iowa winter or those with limited English skills.
