Want to connect with other caregivers in the Des Moines area? Looking for play ideas to get your kids ready for school? Then come to the the and join our friends at EveryStep for Play and Learn! Play and Learn offers child-directed, open ended, playful learning activities designed for you to stay and play with your child ages 0 – 8 years old (school ages welcome). 

Play and Learn will occur outside on the greenspace west of Franklin as weather allows. In the event of inclement weather and during the winter months Play and Learn will be held in Rosie's Rocket.

Accompanying Adults

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Indoor Program (2021)

This program is hosted indoors.  Please observe social distancing and follow local COVID-19 safety mandates. Hand sanitizer will be provided and staff will do their best to ensure any shared materials are disinfected between use.
