Filing taxes can be overwhelming when you aren't sure what you need or who can help. Join our Zoom call during your lunch break for resources and guidance for filing taxes for the 2026 season.

Connect with area organizations for resources. Community advocates will provide information about community resources like meal sites and shelters.

Join us on the 2nd Monday of every month for our book club. Enjoy good books, great discussions, and meet fellow book lovers. Snacks and coffee are provided! 

Need help with a phone, laptop, or tablet, or another electronic device? Come by the Central Library at 2PM on Thursdays and our staff will work with you to figure things out. This is a drop-in, first-come first-served service.

Pick up your pencil and let's have fun with lines, shapes, patterns, and color. Each week we'll make a different drawing project to take home.

Explore forces, motion, and energy transfer in action as families design, build, and launch their own mini catapults.

Join the fun at Chess Club! Chess is one of the world's most popular games and is played by millions of people worldwide. This is a drop-in program where resources will be available to learn to play or come to test your skills with other players.

Earn volunteer hours by assisting with library programs and projects! Teens ages 12 to 18 can drop in any open Wednesday and volunteer for one hour.

If you're between the ages of 12-18 and looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer opportunity, give the library a try! We would love to have your help!

Learn how to use the Glowforge Plus Laser Engraver at Tech Central! This program takes the place of the 1 on 1 Glowforge tutorial, so you will be fully qualified to book and use the Glowforge on your own after this program. 

Drop in for a couple hours to work on your latest craft or mending project. Please bring your own supplies and projects with you. 

Learn how to use the Cricut Maker and Cricut Venture at Tech Central! What is a Cricut?

This program presentation introduces the iPhone and its key functions and features. It's designed for patrons who want to learn the basics. We'll explore common apps and help participants build confidence in using the device safely.

Swedish death cleaning is the thoughtful and effective method of organizing and decluttering, made popular by Margareta Magnusson's best-selling book and television series, "The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning".

Drop in and spend an evening creating something new while enjoying the company of local crafters. In March, use pages from old books and magazines to decorate a wooden picture frame, then seal your collage with Mod Podge.

Broaden your perspective, find new strategies for handling life’s challenges, or deepen your understanding of a topic when you join us for a monthly conversation around a life-changing nonfiction book. 

Join us at Forest for a book club and pizza party just for tweens! Each month features a new book exploring different genres, formats, and topics.

Join us once a month to discuss books by underrepresented authors. Our goal is to amplify these voices and experiences while discussing social issues in the context of fiction and non-fiction books.
