Please join the Friends of the Franklin Avenue Library for our quarterly membership meeting.

This conversation club is both for native speakers and those wanting to learn Russian. Topics of conversation are meant to be light. Get to know other members of your community, or assist those wanting to learn Russian.

Come to the South Side Library Meeting Room and exchange your beloved puzzles for new to you ones! We're having a good old fashioned puzzle swap!

Do you have an item in your home in need of repair? Stop by Franklin Avenue Library's Repair Café to get help from expert volunteers who can fix your item(s) or refer you to a local professional.

Preschoolers and their caregivers can enjoy stories, rhymes, music, and learn school readiness skills. Afterwards, we will enjoy free-play together.

Toddlers and their caregivers can enjoy introductory stories, songs, music, and movement! For ages 18 months to 36 months.

Are you searching for a new job, having trouble navigating a website, or looking to learn a new digital skill? Goodwill is at the library to help!

Learn how to design, build, and collect your own artistic, adorable, and/or awesome stickers. We'll even make puffy stickers and a mini-sticker album to keep our creations safe! Supplies and snacks provided. 

Join author Tom Montgomery Fate for a free workshop that teaches introductory craft strategies for poetry during National Poetry Month. 

Join us for our evening Family Storytime at 6:30 p.m.! Kids and caregivers can join us for fun songs, stories, and acivities. You can even wear your jammies!

The YSS team will be providing street outreach services, meal kits that include snacks and water, hygiene kits, survival kits for the weather with gloves and blankets, and central intake assessments.

Join us at Forest for a Build a Bridge STEM Challenge!

Bring the beat to ASAP's drumming class! Try your hand at drumming and learn all about beats, rhythms, and more from a professional drummer, all while making music with others. Snack provided for all participants. 

Join us in celebrating the joy of reading and art as we explore materials and STEM activities inspired by a picture book. Ages 3 and up.

When you're learning to read, practicing out loud can be daunting! Visit Central Library to practice reading with an ARL TheraPet. Engaging with animals is a great way to boost confidence and reduce anxiety around learning to read.

Come to South Side for an hour of sensory exploration!

Learn how to use the Bambu X-1 Carbon filament 3D printer and the Formlabs Form 3 resin 3D printer.  Participants will learn how to use the free software to prepare their 3D files for printing at the library.
