RAGBRAI is coming through Des Moines this year, and we want to have bike art on display for the riders stopping by! Visit the children's area to weave a few pieces of fabric into a bike wheel.

Find the My Little Pony characters hidden around the library and win a small prize. Best for ages 6+

Pick up your own Suncatcher for a quick, fun craft.  Use library provided markers in-house or take the sun catcher home to decorate with your own paint and markers. As supplies last! Best for ages 6+.

There is a scavenger hunt for adults to learn about different areas and opportunities at the library and our surrounding areas. If you complete the scavenger hunt, bring it to the front desk for a prize.  

Come to the Franklin Avenue Library to grab a Flower Weaving Take and Make. We'll provide the twine and instructions - you provide the sticks and flowers.

Kids! Visit South and try our Scavenger Hunt! Drop in and search the library for all of the items on the sheet and win a prize. For youth ages 3 and up.
