All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Event Details

Join the Science Center of Iowa for the third in a three-part camp series. In this class coders will use conductive thread to sew a micro-controller to a project, use coding language to program it, and create a clothing accessory that reflects their individuality using their knowledge of wearable electronics.
