All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Children ages 3-5 and their caregivers can join Miss Janee outside for Outdoor Preschool Storytime at South!

Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and sit along the library’s sidewalk. Children can listen to stories, move to musical activities and play with outdoor activities that prepare your child for school.  In case of rain, program will be held in the Meeting Room.
