Warming Centers

All DMPL locations are serving as warming centers during open hours through February 2. DART will provide free rides to designated warming center locations while the Extreme Temperature Plan is in effect.

We are no longer accepting teen volunteer applications for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

Summer Volunteering: Teens ages 12-18 can pick up a summer volunteer application starting Wednesday, April 1 at the Franklin Avenue Library youth desk. Applications must be turned in by Thursday, April 30 for consideration.

 

Applications for the 2026-2027 school year will be available in August.
