Come to the Central Library on the last Friday* of each month at 1:30 p.m. to learn about health and wellness.  Presented by PHC Supportive Services for Veteran Families, Health Care Navigation in partnership with the Des Moines Public Library.

This month, Erin Husmann from PHC, will discuss a variety of strategies for harm reduction, including safer use, managed use, and community needs. Resources for treatment options will also be made available. 

*Augusts program will be held on August 18, November's program will be held on November 17, and December's program will be held on December 15

Central Parking

Free library parking is available in Central's underground parking garage for two hours per visit. Parking around the library is metered at various costs from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
