All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Program Description

Event Details

A special guest from Polk County Conservation will join us for Creative Readers, teach us how to identify common winter birds in our area, and make a pine cone birdfeeder to take home. Ages 5 to 11 years old, but younger and older siblings are welcome.
