Women's Prize for Fiction

The Women's Prize for Fiction is given out annually in the United Kingdom and is considered the country's most prestigious book award celebrating and honoring fiction written by women. Each year, a panel of five women, choose winners based on the key criteria of accessibility, originality, and excellence in writing. Six books have been named to this year's shortlist and are displayed below.

Books considered must have been published in the United Kingdom between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2023. The winner will be revealed during a banquet in London on Wednesday, June 14.
