Station Information
The library has Teflon sheets and heat-safe tape available for use free of charge. Please provide your own materials that you would like pressed.
The heat press has a heat area of 15″ × 15″ with a maximum temperature of 455°F and a built-in timer to tell you when your project is done pressing.
Rules and Guidelines
- You must be a Des Moines Public Library cardholder
- For ages 14 and up
- Users under the age of 14 must be accompanied by parent/guardian
- Reservations may be submitted two weeks in advance
- Reservations start at two hours per day, with extensions subject to availability
- Walk-in appointments are subject to availability
- Covered drinks are welcome; food is not permitted
- DMPL’s Customer Behavior Policy and Internet Use Policy apply
