Fraud Fighters

Let a trained volunteer help you protect your savings! United Way volunteers are trained by the Iowa Insurance Division to help people recognize various scams and fraudulent situations. You will be made familiar with investment scams, grandparent and honeymoon scams, Ponzi or Pyramid schemes and more. 

Everyone who attends will receive an informative booklet created by the Iowa Insurance Division, which can be used as a handy home reference should scammers show up at your door or reach out to you via email or telephone.
