The Des Moines Public Library is partnering with The Varsity Cinema for The Varsity Cinema Book Club.

Read the book. Watch the movie. Discuss them both!

This month, we will be reading the novel Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin, and watching the film Rosemary's Baby by Roman Polansky. Limited copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Central Library Pick-up Window starting the first of the month.

The book and movie discussion will be held at The Varsity Cinema (1207 25th St, Des Moines, IA 50311) on October 25th at 8:30.  This discussion is free and open to the public with no purchase necessary.  Note: there will be an admission charge if you would like to see the movie.  Please check https://varsitydesmoines.com/ for showtimes and details.
