Program Description

Event Details

Join us as we learn from area grain growers, millers and bread bakers about our local and regional “grain chain”. In our Cultivate Your Plate small group style you’ll get a chance to learn about how local grains are grown and processed, the versatility of various types of grains, suggestions for those with gluten sensitivity, along with connecting to local bread bakers.

*No bread baking skills required to attend as this is not so much a hands-on bread baking class but rather learning about the local food system & the nature/variety of artisanal grains.

We will end the evening sharing a community meal with soup made with locally sourced ingredients and of course, fresh baked bread!
