All DMPL locations are serving as warming centers during open hours. DART will be providing free rides to designated warming centers through Friday, December 5. Learn more about additional warming centers.

See tiny masterpieces created by Des Moines Public Library patrons!

Come in to see your mini-masterpiece on display in the art gallery! Check out other artists' creations and celebrate tiny art in our community. Winners for the Children, Teen, and Adult categories will be announced.  Light refreshments provided.

Participants can take their art home at the end of the reception. Any art not claimed at the reception will be sent back to the branch where it was submitted. You may collect it from that branch between 2/2-2/16. If you can't come in during that window of time, please give us a call to let us know.

Central Parking

Free library parking is available in Central's underground parking garage for two hours per visit. Parking around the library is metered at various costs from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
