Join the Des Moines Metro Opera for a preview of A Thousand Acres based on the novel by Jane Smiley. Learn about the fascinating process of developing a world premiere production with the opera's director, Kristine McIntyre. We will talk through the process of creating the adaptation and leave time for Q&A. Attendees have a chance to win a pair of tickets to the opera!
