All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Event Details

Teens and Tweens! Can you make a haunted house out of gingerbread and other foods? Visit South and create your own Spooky Gingerbread House! Snack on some goodies while you use candy, frosting, and other fun foods to craft your own haunted house and take it home!

For teens and tweens ages 10-18. Preregistration required. Space is limited.
