Adventure Pass temporarily shut down in 2025

Due to software issues affecting all libraries using the service, the Iowa Adventure Pass program will temporarily shut down in 2025. Any reservation already made for 2025 will be honored, but we encourage anyone with a current reservation to print those passes immediately. Customers can still make new reservations for passes that must be used by December 31, 2024. The service will return at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Can you tell a story in six words? Give it your best shot at a writing meetup, where we'll learn about what six-word stories are and where they came from, then practice creating them together! There will be writing prompts to help you get your creative juices flowing and opportunities to share if you want to.

Not sure you want to try your hand at a six-word story? No problem! All teen writers are welcome at the meetup to chat with other writers, get inspired, and practice your craft!
