DMPL Locations Are Warming Centers

All DMPL locations are currently serving as Polk County Warming Centers during open hours. DART will be providing free rides to warming centers while the extreme temperature plan is in effect. More information about warming centers can be found on the Polk County website.

Apple season calls for apple desserts! 

Join us for our next Take & Bake program where Chef Easton and DMPL librarian Haley will show participants how to make a rustic apple tart. Think of this as a cross between an apple tart and a pie! Almost all of the ingredients will be provided for you including: apples, flour, cinnamon and sugar. Participants will need to supply: butter, egg, vanilla, salt and a large baking sheet. 

Registration is required to receive a FREE apple tart kit.
