Franklin Pickup Window closing early

The pickup window will close at 5 PM at Franklin Avenue Library today (Tuesday, December 10). Please go inside to pick up your holds from 5-8 PM. 

Adventure Pass temporarily shut down in 2025

Due to software issues affecting all libraries using the service, the Iowa Adventure Pass program will temporarily shut down in 2025. Any reservation already made for 2025 will be honored, but we encourage anyone with a current reservation to print those passes immediately. Customers can still make new reservations for passes that must be used by December 31, 2024. The service will return at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

It's time to kick off the DMPL summer reading program and the Varsity Cinema kids' movie series! Join us at the Varsity Cinema to sign up for the summer reading program, receive a free book, and watch a movie based on a children's book! 

The kids' movie series will run each Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM through the month of June. Check back here for details.
