All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Drop in at South and play/learn with your toddler or preschooler at the Simple Steps Spot!  Each week, we’ll spotlight an activity - from the 5 Simple Steps - for toddlers & preschool-age children to work on. 

Drop in anytime to work on it together, and check out lots of books to read together!  This week, children can make music and have fun playing with musical instruments in the Meeting Room from 10:30-11:30 AM.
