All DMPL locations are currently serving as Polk County Warming Centers during open hours. DART will be providing free rides to warming centers while the extreme temperature plan is in effect. More information about warming centers can be found on the Polk County website.

Event Details

Join us for a special visitor, a dog named Brody,  from the Animal Rescue League's Therapets program today at 9:30 AM! Between 9:00 AM-10:00 AM, the East Side Library invites families and children with special needs to borrow materials and enjoy the library. We will reduce the lighting and have areas set up to encourage activity or provide calming spaces. Our friendly staff will be on hand to answer questions and help you find materials that are perfect for your family!
