Adventure Pass temporarily shut down in 2025

Due to software issues affecting all libraries using the service, the Iowa Adventure Pass program will temporarily shut down in 2025. Any reservation already made for 2025 will be honored, but we encourage anyone with a current reservation to print those passes immediately. Customers can still make new reservations for passes that must be used by December 31, 2024. The service will return at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Program Description

Event Details

Join the library and ISU 4U Promise for a screening of The Right to Read and a discussion about early literacy. Every community should understand what it takes to make sure all children can learn to read. The Right to Read shares stories from communities who found a way to make a difference through science-based solutions, spotlighting stories of an NAACP activist, a teacher, and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of life-long success: the ability to read.

Dinner will be available for first 35 attendees, and a discussion after the film will be facilitated by Iowa State University School of Education professors.
