Exploration rovers have been studying Mars for nearly 30 years. Join us at Central Library as NASA Solar System Ambassador Dan Hoy discusses how we’ve explored Mars, how rovers are designed, and what they’ve revealed about the Red Planet. Participants can also build their own rover model with provided supplies. Designed for ages 5–10, but all are welcome!

Bio: Dan Hoy, from Clive Iowa, is currently serving in his seventh year as a NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador volunteer. In this role he makes presentations and conducts workshops on space and space exploration, with all age groups, across central Iowa.
