Library opening delayed

All locations of the Des Moines Public Library will open at Noon Saturday, December 14 due to weather. All locations will serve as emergency warming shelters during open hours.

Join us for a special Pajama Storytime! We will read spooky stories, have a treat, and make a craft. Wear your coziest pjs and bring a stuffie to snuggle!

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Children’s Program

Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a caregiver over 12 years old.
