All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a family-friendly watercolor workshop where you will learn to paint a soothing piece of artwork in this program led by watercolorist Lisa Christensen. This project is perfect for kids and beginner watercolorists.

Space is limited, so please register all adults and children that plan to attend the workshop.
