Event Details

Joel Van Roekel, supervisor of environmental education for Des Moines Parks and Recreation, will speak about the native plant species and the benefits they provide in the natural landscape that surrounds the Franklin Avenue Library. This is an outdoor program requiring limited walking during early evening summer sun, so please dress appropriately.
