Families! Join the South Side Library via Zoom and celebrate Native American Heritage Month with a special presentation from CultureAll at 6:30 p.m. CultureAll Ambassador Timothy Perkins will share with kids the history of Native Americans, what Pow Wows were for, tribal customs, and the different structures used for shelter by various tribes.
Stop by South before the program to pick up a Kid's Take and Make Craft Bag for use during the program. Tim will share with kids how symbols were used on tipis and how they represented families. Each bag will have supplies for kids to draw symbols and make their own tipis at home.
The bags will be available beginning on October 18. For ages 5-12.
