All DMPL locations are currently serving as Polk County Warming Centers during open hours. DART will be providing free rides to warming centers while the extreme temperature plan is in effect. More information about warming centers can be found on the Polk County website.

Visit the library to explore a massive model train display by the DesMoiNTrak Modular Railroad Club! Enjoy N scale railroads in the meeting room, plus a train activity and scavenger hunt in the children’s area. Fun for train lovers of all ages!
