Join us for Spring Lawyers in Libraries Program sponsored by the ISBA Legal Access Committee. This program will focus on the powers and limitations of a last will and testament, the basics of probate, information on how court costs are calculated and an overview of how trusts work and when it may be helpful to use one.

Amy Davis is an attorney with the Miller, Zimmerman & Evans law firm. Her practice includes juvenile matters, divorce, estate planning, probate matters, guardianships and contract work. Amy is a member of the American Bar Association, Iowa Bar Association, and Polk County Bar Association, and serves on a number of committees within these associations.

Lawyers in Libraries is a joint effort by The Iowa State Bar Association, the State Library of Iowa, Iowa Legal Aid and the Polk County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project to help provide free legal information to Iowans across the state. This Spring, lawyers will make one-hour presentations followed by question-and-answer sessions at local public libraries throughout the state.
