Event Details

This class, facilitated by Sara O'Connell, will highlight the wonderful properties of herbs and spices you likely already have in your own home. O'Connell will share about how these ingredients can be transformed into teas, tinctures, syrups and more leveling up your wellness rituals and providing your meals with an additional culinary boost. Everyone will leave the class with an herbal infusion created with simple kitchen ingredients.

Sara is an Iowa transplant and herbalist who is passionate about sharing her knowledge of herbal medicine and ethical and sustainable wild harvesting with others through classroom instruction and workshops. Her botanical studies began over 15 years ago. Sara studied in Oregon at the Columbines School of Botanical Studies, in the classroom and in the field, learning about physiology, botany, wildcrafting, and ethical and sustainable harvesting.
