Event Details

Dr. Paul Brooke, Professor at Grand View University, will present on the Northern Pantanal jaguars. These cats are habituated to humans and spend time near the river's edge for easy observation from boats. Brooke and his coauthor Paul Donahue investigate these amazing animals in terms of their cub raising, hunting, mating and diet. Truly, Brooke and Donahue show us the lives of these amazing animals through photographic evidence and scientific data.

The presentation will run 1 hour and features 48 photographs of prey and jaguars on the hunt as well as mothers teaching cubs how to hunt.
