All Locations Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

All DMPL locations will be closed on Monday, January 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Forest Avenue Library's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration will take place at 4 PM at the Forest Avenue Library. Doors open at 3:30 PM for the program.

Warming Center Information: The Central Library meeting room wing will be open on Monday, January 20, from 9 AM-5 PM for use as a warming center. The library itself will remain closed.

Event Details

Join the Iowa Pastel Society as they celebrate their member show reception. The event will be held behind the second floor art gallery at the Central Library on Sunday June 30th from 2 - 4 pm. Light snacks will be available. This collection of work will be on display from June 3 - June 30.
