Event Details

Tylar Samuels and Ryan Schmidt, with Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation (INHF) will share information about the organization and the prairies they have helped protect across Iowa. If you’re thinking about converting some of your yard to native landscaping – they can share how to get started and where to find native plants.

Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation (INHF) is a statewide 501 (c)(3) nonprofit conservation organization that works with private landowners and public agencies to protect and restore Iowa’s land, water and wildlife. Since our founding in 1979, our supporters and staff have protected more than 190,000 acres of Iowa’s natural resources.  INHF was the first land trust in Iowa to receive national accreditation from the Land Trust Accreditation Commission.
